Car turned left in front of me and I T-boned it, what now?

September 3, 2019 //  by Glenn B. Fair Jr., Esq.

In Colorado, drivers turning left have a duty to yield to oncoming traffic.  It is not uncommon for insurance companies to try and assign blame (liability) to the driver going straight and thus, hiring an attorney to fight for you early in the process is important.

It is also possible that police officers made a mistake when writing the accident report (which at fault insurance companies love to rely on).  I am aware of this because I trained police officers and supervised them for over 10 years.

You should go and see a doctor to rule out major injuries (even if you are “just sore” because sometimes life changing injuries may lie hidden for days).  Then, you should call Oakmont Law Group (720) 645-1123.

Getting one of our lawyers involved early in your case will help protect your rights and help you prevent making an error which can cause irreparable damage to your case.
